California Client Awarded $30 Million for Major Transportation Infrastructure Project

We are pleased to congratulate one of our California municipal clients on securing $30 million in grant funding from the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) through the Sustainable Transportation Block Grant (STBG) / Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Program.

The funding will support the reconstruction and widening of an existing roadway, advancing a significant transportation improvement that will enhance regional mobility, improve safety, and support long-term economic and environmental objectives. The project is expected to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow, and contribute to better air quality, all key goals of the STBG/CMAQ program.

This award reflects the project’s strong planning foundation, regional importance, and clear alignment with state and federal transportation priorities. SCAG’s STBG/CMAQ program is highly competitive, supporting projects that demonstrate measurable benefits related to congestion reduction, emissions improvements, and overall system performance.

We are proud to support municipalities across California as they pursue and secure funding for complex transportation initiatives. Congratulations to the client and project team on this successful award and on moving forward an investment that will deliver lasting benefits to the community and region.
